✨ About Me
👋 I'm Jorge Evaristo — a Data Analyst with a background in International Business, a curiosity that never sits still.
🎯 My journey into data started almost by accident. While studying International Business at Tecnológico de Monterrey, I joined a global innovation company as a Research Intern. I worked with international clients, spent most of my days interacting in English, and a colleague introduced me to SQL and Looker Studio. That tiny moment opened a huge door.
💡 One of my proudest moments — discovering a licensing inconsistency through SQL that had gone unnoticed for years. A small insight with a big business impact.
📈 I eventually became a Program Manager, where I spent over two and a half years helping clients understand the platform, translating technical concepts into human language, and working closely with engineers. But what truly hooked me was building interactive dashboards that showed real‑time results. Seeing those dashboards generate value (and revenue) made me realize something important: I didn't just like data — I loved what data could do.
✈️ That curiosity pushed me to make a big move: I relocated to Berlin to pursue a Master's in Data Analytics at BSBI.
🧠 Here, I've been diving into Python, data cleaning, Tableau, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Data Warehousing, and more. I don't claim to master everything yet, but I'm genuinely excited about the process. I love learning, experimenting, and building things that make sense.

🔥 What Drives Me
Curiosity, impact, and the joy of discovering the unexpected
🔍 Curiosity
The kind that makes you ask "why?" one more time when everyone else stops. I love understanding how things work and finding patterns in chaos.
📊 Solving real problems
Turning messy information into something clear and useful. Helping teams make better decisions and building things that create value.
🤝 People & collaboration
I enjoy working with people, learning from them, and contributing with a mix of analysis, creativity, and empathy.
💡 Making things better
At the core, what drives me is simple: I want to use data to make things better — for teams, for companies, and for people.
🎸 Beyond Data
⚡ I'm more than dashboards and SQL queries.
🏀 I love sports — soccer, basketball, American football.
🎸 I can talk about rock music for hours.
📚 I enjoy reading, learning languages, exploring new places, and connecting with people.
😄 I'm easygoing, curious, and I laugh at myself often. I like good conversations, good energy, and yes… a good beer 🍻. Especially in Berlin, where trying new ones feels like part of the cultural experience.
✨ These things shape how I work: open‑minded, collaborative, and always ready to learn something new.
